Honey fermented ginger can be taken by the spoonful or mixed in with hot teas.

I take one teaspoon daily, I make sure I get plenty of the ginger in there as well. Yum.

* Be sure to check into any drug interactions and side effects before using ginger medicinally. Should not be taken in conjunction with blood thinning medicines.

This is so easy to make. Fill a glass jar 3/4 of the way with chopped ginger.

Slowly pour in raw honey. Mix gently until honey is well incorporated with the ginger; Be sure the ginger is covered completely with the honey.

Place the lid on the jar, leave at room temperature to ferment for 2 weeks.

Open the lid daily to release gases. After the fermentation process I store mine in the refrigerator.
